RULES – WKF. Children’s rules with adjustments. Organizer reserves the right to introduce changes in rules. Olympic elimination system with full repechage and two 3rd places is applicable to all categories with at least 4 participants. In categories with 3 participants round-robin system is used. Organizer reserves the right to unite categories if the number of participants is less than 2.

KATA
U10 - flag system - can be repeated
U12 - flag system - can be repeated every second time
U14 - flag system - can be repeated every third time
U16 and +16 - WKF rules.

KUMITE
U10 - fight duration 1 min. until 6 point difference.
U12, U14 – fight duration 1:30 min. until 6 point difference.
U16, U18, +18 – WKF rules.

KUMITE CATEGORIES:

Please take notice: athletes can compete in older category but only in his/her weight category.
Every athlete can take part in their respective age and weight category and in one older age category in his/her weight. Cannot compete in a heavier category. The team representative and/or the coach are personally responsible for the participants matching the particular age or weight category, as well as the level of preparation of a particular athlete to the particular tournament.

AWARDING
OPEN CATEGORY - PRIZE MONEY ! +18 OPEN CATEGORY FOR MEN AND WOMEN - 200 EUR
Cash prize is awarded in case of 8 or more athletes in a category. In case of fewer athletes, medals will be awarded to the winners.
Categories U16, U18, +18 are awarded medals. The first place winners of categories U10, U12, U14 will be awarded trophies and the runners-up will be awarded medals.

According to the first places, the club is awarded the BALTIC CUP.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
WKF equipment is compulsory! Categories U12, U14 – body protector is mandatory. Categories U10 body protector is recommended.
Chest protection is compulsory in female categories U16 and U18, in categories U10, U12, U14 - chest protector is recommended.
Male groing quard is recommended in categories U10, U12, compulsory – in U14, U16, U18, and Seniors categories.
Categories U14 – face mask is recommended.
The athletes as well as their coaches or parents are fully responsible for any injuries received as a result of not using the required equipment! The organiser does not provide the equipment.

THE PROTEST
The protest must be submitted in writing within one minute of the participation of the athlete. The protest can only be submitted by the official person of the team to the Chief judge of the competition. The price of the protest is 100 €. The protest is reviewed immediately after the submission. Upon satisfaction of the protest, the contribution is refunded.

The applications are accepted until March 10th 2025 24:00 on www.sportdata.org
For every change in the application made after 10.03.2025 additional charge of EUR 20 EUR is applied.

WEIGHING
Friday, 14 March 2025, from 18.00 till 20.00, Gardino st. 8, Siauliai
Saturday, 15 March 2025, from 08.00 till 09.30, Gardino st. 8, Siauliai

The weight tolerances admited are 0.2 kg for all male categories and 0.5 kg for all female categories. The same tolerance applies to both the upper and lower limits of a weight class. All competitors must weight in at latest 1.5 hours before the start of their category.
Please note that weigh-in is mandatory for all kumite categories.

Qualified judges are all welcome. Registration must be completed up to date of 5th of March 2024 by e-mail: vbutnorius@gmail.com
