Closing Date Saturday 25 March.Weigh in:- Sat 1 April 3.45-4.30pm & Sunday 8.30 - 10.00am (at venue both days)ID presented prior to competition during weigh in times. for 1st time in State Championships. (Kata competitors who are competiting on Sunday morning 1st time in a Sate Championships must show ID for proof age prior to competing)Entry Fee: Individual fee $55.00 first event and $25.00 for additional events- Team Categories $65.00 - Spectators – FREENOMINATION AS A VOLUNTEER: Through your club - Remember to check regarding your Working With Children if you are required to show prior to 30/3/23. (Includes Coaches & Referees) COMPULSORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT(KUMITE):
KATA RULES: Children Kata categories will be two competitors at a time, excluding semi-final and final. Children’s categories, first and second round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a Kata but not consecutively. Cadet, Junior, Under 21 and Senior Kata, free Kata. Cannot repeat a Kata. Senior Kata is 16 years and above.

WORKING WITH CHILDRENClub Instructors must submit prior to the event by Thursday 30th March all Volunteers and if not already submitted for the Shobukan tournament their WWC information. Volunteers who are exempt must also be on the list with exempt stated beside their name. Referees must submit a copy of the card. All other Volunteers we require Name, DOB, WWC number and expiry date.
