2023 Western Australian Karate League – Wado Ryu Open

ENTRY FEE: Elite Categories Individual fee $60.00 first event and $25.00 for additional events Developing Categories Individual fee $45.00 first event and $25.00 for additional events Team Events - $60 per team / SPECTATORS: FREEPAYMENT: Payable to Western Australian All Wado Karate Federation via Electronic Funds Transfer BSB: 306 041 ACC: 0603292
Club conditions: 1 - 10 Competitors = 1 official/volunteer provided by the club. 11 - 25 Competitors = 2 Official Volunteers. 25 or more competitors = 3 Official Volunteers for the entire competition day.
COMPULSORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT(KUMITE):
REGISTRATION: Visit Sportdata Online to register. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE. NO PAPER COPY WILL BE ACCEPTED. CLOSING DATE: Registration must be completed by Friday 12 May 2023 NO Refunds from Saturday 13 May 2023 DEVELOPING CATEGORIES: Past State Team Members cannot enter Developing categories. If you have won 3 development events or a State division or an Elite you must go in Elite only divisions. COMBINED CATEGORIES: The organisers reserve the right to combine or cancel categories with insufficient entries. KATA RULES: Kata will be judged by the flag system. Children Kata categories will be two competitors at a time, excluding semi-final and final. Developing Kata – First and second round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a Kata in consecutive rounds. Elite Kata – Children’s categories, first and second round Heian/Pinan, Gekisai and Saifa. Third round onwards free Kata. Can repeat a Kata but not consecutively. Cadet, Junior, Under 21 and Senior Kata, free Kata. Cannot repeat a Kata. Senior Kata is 16yrs and above. All Volunteers (unless they are exempt) - Club Coaches / Table Officials / Marshalls / Tea-Coffee personnel must submit to their club their WWC card number. All volunteers must have a valid WWC Card to participate in the event. This List to be forwarded to info@karatewestralia.com prior to 17 May 2023.
REFEREES:- Each referee must provide WAKF with a copy (photo/photocopy) of their current WWC Card prior to the commencementor the competition season.
