Dear Coaches and athletes,
I am pleased and excited to share with you all the details and entry form for the 2025 Karate Tasmania State Championships.
I am also eager to share all entries submitted before May 4th will receive a $10 early bird discount.
Event details below:
Venue: Margate Primary School - 7 Van Morey Rd, Margate TAS 7054
Kata Divisions: Peewee, Children, Cadet, Junior, Senior (16yoa+), Veteran (35-44yoa+), Veteran (45yoa+), Athletes with Disability, Team Kata.
Kumite Divisions: Peewee, Children, Cadet, Junior, Senior, Veteran (35-44yoa), Veteran (45yoa+).
Date: Sunday May 25th
Registrations close: Sunday May 18th (5.00pm)
Early bird entries ($10 off entry fee!) close: May 4th

Some additional information for all athletes and coaches to be aware of:
As of January 2025, all children 13 yrs and under competing in kumite events are required to wear the new WKF approved helmets which have the INBUILT face shields at all qualifying events (such as the State Championships).
