We would recommend everyone who can to do this as it will help decrease the load/rush on Sunday. The weigh in is in the venue itself in a room called “Kubuszaal”. It is open from 16:00 until 19:00. With over 600 participants it will be crucial to get many of you done on Saturday. /// PARKING /// If you come by car, there’s the option to park the car right under the venue. The parking garage, normally paid parking, will be open for Open Dutch visitors and will be free of charge. If the parking is full, please use the Food Tech Brainport parking, this will also be open for Open Dutch visitors and free of charge. There will be signs guiding you to the location, but just in case: drive past the Food Tech Brainport building and take the first road to the left! http://open-dutch.nl/free-parking-sunday-open-dutch-visitors/ /// TRAIN /// Those preparing their travel to the Open Dutch in Helmond, it is possible to take the train from Eindhoven or from Schiphol to Helmond. The Dutch Railway website is: https://www.ns.nl/en/. When you enter the dates and the locations (pick train station “Helmond”) then you can provide a time and it will provide you a time table when you click “plan”. A one-way ticket from Schiphol to Helmond is € 21.10. An example of the fields you need to fill out can be found below. For those traveling with larger groups, note that there’s also an option to buy a group ticket, this only works with a group of 4 or larger. But does provide a relatively low fair, note that these can’t be used during rush hours. The people in the group all need to travel together at the same time, and the ticket can only be bought online, with 4 people the ticket will cost 7.50 per person. Open Dutch Championships | 28.01.2018 | HELMOND (NL) (scroll down for English!)

It is that time of the year again, almost time to register for one of Europe’s best ITF taekwon-do tournaments, the Open Dutch. January the 28th is the date, make sure to put this in your calendars. As mentioned before, we moved the event to our hometown Helmond. Still very close to Eindhoven airport (22 km) though.
At the new location we are able to have between 8 and 10 squares, but all of this in a single sports hall. Making it for competitors and coaches a lot easier to see other matches and get the full Open Dutch experience!
We have already received various commitments from different countries and teams that they will participate again. We expect a high quality event with once again the best taekwon-doka’s from all over the world. Open Dutch is organized in cooperation with ITF-Netherlands and is part of the Master Series.
We will use the electronic scoring system and registration from Sportdata. Visit our website frequently as we will be updating it more regularly the closer we get to the tournament.

Please note that this year, we will have a power-breaking competition as well as an overall sparring class in different divisions. Registration will open up on the 1st of December and we hope to welcome many of you on the 28th of January and are looking forward to a great tournament.

A: VOORBEREIDING (als je nog GEEN Sportdata clubaccount hebt)

B: REGISTREREN VOOR EVENEMENT (als je al WEL een Sportdata clubaccount hebt)

B1: Inschrijvingen. Video instructie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPuae9uKHP0. Resultaat: Je deelnemers/coaches/scheidsrechters/officials staan nu ingeschreven.

C: BETALING

C1: Betalen. Via Registratie > My Current Entries/Payment verschijnt het overzicht van al je inschrijvingen (pop-up).
C2: Klik op het icoontje (Paypal of Bank Transfer) om via Paypal te betalen, of om de bankgegevens te bekijken.
C3: Betaling kan via bankoverschrijving (Bank Transfer) of Paypal (let op: bij Paypalbetalingen zit een toeslag).
Let op: vergeet niet voor de betalingsdeadline te betalen!

A: PREPARATION (if you DON'T have a Sportdata ITF club account yet)

A1: Register your ITF Taekwon-Do Club (https://www.sportdata.org/ > Taekwon-Do > ITF events > login > create account). Video instruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuUrwSXIt68 (Karate example, but works the same). Result: You’re now able to log in as a club with your account details.

C: PAYMENT

C1: Payment. Log in first and go to the event > Via Registration > My Current Entries/Payment an overview of your event registration appears (pop-up).

C3: Payment via bank transfer or Paypal (please be aware there’s an additional transaction fee for Paypal payments).
Attention: please pay before the set payment deadline!
